(Non-Vintage) Torre Oria Spanish Sparkling Wine. Produced in the traditional French Champagne method involving daily turning and fermentation within the bottle. This BRUT (dry) style of sparkling wine is full bodied and made with 100% Macabeo grapes centered in the historic wine producing town of Requena, located in eastern Spain, near Valencia. This award winning wine features light golden overtones, a full floral bouquet and abundant and sustaining bubbles. Sparkling wine is paired best with fruits, seafoods, risottos, pastas, salads, hors d’oeuvres or with desserts. Each bottle spends fifteen months in Torre Oria's historic cellar caves before release. Torre Oria has been in operation since 1897. |
2013 Zaca Mesa Estate Syrah. The grapes are grown in the Santa Ynez Valley region of Santa Barbara County, this Syrah consistently receives ratings in excess of 91 points in Wine Enthusiast Magazine. The magazine describes Zaca Mesa Syrahs as “Not as deeply purple as other Syrahs, this bottling shows more broad red-fruit aromas of caramelized cherry along with lilacs, violets, crushed black rocks and vanilla cola. Mulberry, dark strawberry and plum elements bring intrigue to the palette, which also offers savory black sesame and hoisin notes. Firm but not overpowering tannic structure and bright acidity present flavors of dried violets.” The wine has also rated highly in prestigious publications including Wine and Spirits Magazine, Connoisseurs’ Guide to California Wineries, and Antonio Galloni (Vinous Media). Since 1973, the family-owned winery has crafted wines from their own estate vineyard and began producing Syrah in 1978 The vineyards feature high-density plantings with multiple Syrah clones creating exceptional complexity, balance, and depth with hints of blackberry, allspice, clove and sweet tobacco. This full-bodied wine is ideally paired with grilled lamb, beef, pork, cured meats, duck breast, pasta, eggplant, and Asian cuisine. |

2014 Stone Cellars Napa Valley Merlot 2014 Stone Cellars Merlot. Vinted and bottled by Stone Cellars in the Napa Valley, this medium bodied Merlot features less tannin than a traditional full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon with complexity and a smooth finish. This wine features flavors of plum, blackberry, raspberry and strawberry. The wine pairs well with steak, lamb. Roasted chicken, pork loin, meatloaf, beef stew, veal, duck breast and roast beef. |
